About The Position

Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join their team. This role involves all aspects of security, including patrolling, approved security responses, and reporting incidents/issues according to department procedures. Individuals must be 21 years or older to work in this position. The position offers a competitive salary based on education, certification, and experience, with a starting hourly rate of $25.00/hr. The work involves assisting employees, patients, and visitors with parking, controlling entrances and exits to parking lots, patrolling the hospital campus, reporting safety and security issues, and providing personal escorts and other routine security services. The ideal candidate is excited about working with people, has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, a willingness to work, is adaptable, and eager to learn. This position requires the ability to work autonomously as well as with a team.

Requirements

2 years applicable experience
Driver's License - Various
Private Officer Commission - Various
Must be 21 years or older
