About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer to serve at an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves armed patrol driving, helping safeguard personnel and property, supporting access control and incident response, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position pays $27.32 per hour and is scheduled Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate security logs and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Operate assigned equipment and carry an authorized duty firearm in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
