About The Position
Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time Armed Security Officers to join our team in the Tamarac, FL area. This position offers a pay rate of $18.00/hr - paid weekly. This position is for a jewelry manufacturing plant, and we are seeking reliable, professional, and vigilant candidates. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
Requirements
- Active Florida Class D & G licenses (must be current).
- Must provide your own Glock firearm.
- Previous armed security experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent reliability.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV and security cameras.
- Conduct interior patrols of the facility.
- Monitor employees entering and exiting the building.
- Perform employee check-ins (X-ray screening).
- Manage front desk access control.
- Conduct foot patrols.
- Escort vendors and visitors as needed.
