Armed Security Officer - Hospital
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Security Officer at a healthcare location in Mineral Wells, Texas. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by conducting armed patrols, monitoring access points, responding to incidents and emergencies, and providing professional customer service. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and pays $19.00 per hour. Applicants must meet hospital vaccine requirements, hold a Texas Level III Armed Certification, be at least 21 years old for armed work, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law, and the officer must participate in industry-specific security training. Licensing requirements may apply before employment.
Requirements
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.

- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations according to established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor access points and help control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
