About The Position

As an Armed Security Officer for a transportation services facility in El Paso, Texas, you will safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment through visible security presence, customer service, and clear communication. The role involves routine armed patrols and responding professionally to security incidents at a transportation location.

The position is full time and pays $14.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transportation personnel, passengers, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, vehicle staging areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; contact emergency services and site leadership when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports about patrols, incidents, observations, and security concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and client representatives.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
