As a Armed Security Officer - Visitor Control in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional front desk location within a financial institution, where you will greet guests, manage access, support badge activity, and help maintain a polished, welcoming presence. This is an armed post requiring a Level III Armed Certification. Requirements

  • Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, greet visitors, verify identification and/or appointments, and help direct foot traffic in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client's designated contacts.
  • Maintain awareness of front desk activity, receive and document deliveries and visitor information as required, and support security-related reporting and recordkeeping for the location.
