As a Security Officer Armed Driver Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, with attention to access control and restricted areas common to an aerospace and defense setting.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify credentials as required, and/or support visitor and contractor processing in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal and location leadership by communicating unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns that could impact daily operations.
