Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to an armed post in an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating security-related concerns according to post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report discrepancies involving visitors, employees, deliveries, and restricted materials.
  • Support assigned operational and compliance requirements by maintaining a professional presence, following weapon handling protocols, and communicating clearly with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders.
