As a Armed Security Officer - Security Operations in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintaining awareness of authorized personnel, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
