As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and cash-handling zones for security-related concerns, while assisting with de-escalation, directional support, and policy-related interactions.
• Support loss prevention and security-related operations by observing customer and/or employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
