As an Armed Security Officer - Clinic Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Perform armed post duties in accordance with assigned instructions, maintaining readiness to respond to security-related concerns while using sound judgment and professionalism.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or interactions accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency responders as needed.
