Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A valid firearms permit is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations for restricted areas, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or operational issues according to site protocols.
Support a professional presence at an aerospace and defense location while following post orders, handling sensitive situations with discretion, and completing required reports and/or logs.
