Requirements

A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
An armed guard card and/or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with site post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports on patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and assist with emergency communications and/or coordination during escalated events.
