Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with site post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports on patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and assist with emergency communications and/or coordination during escalated events.
