As a Armed Security Officer - Afternoon Dedicated Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or hazards observed during patrols.
  • Support residents and property management with routine security-related assistance, including providing directions, addressing questions, and communicating issues that may impact daily operations.
