About The Position

Carbon Global Security is hiring part-time/on-call Armed Security Guards in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area of Arizona. The company provides security services to high-net-worth families, Fortune 500 corporations, and at-risk individuals. The role involves providing armed security and maintaining firearm proficiency, confidentiality, safety, and effective communication. Advancement opportunities may include plain-clothes assignments, executive protection, and Residential Security Team details. Pay is $25.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, with expected hours of 20–40 per week. Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours and may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekdays, weekends as needed, on-call work, and overtime. The work is in person in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.

Requirements

Be at least 25 years old.
Have reliable transportation.
Provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Hold both AZ DPS Unarmed and Armed Guard Cards.
Have a valid U.S.-issued driver's license and a clean five-year DMV report.
Pass pre-hiring drug and alcohol testing.
Pass a pre-hiring physical fitness assessment.
Maintain a trim, physically fit, and professional appearance.
Demonstrate problem-solving, decision-making, and written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently.
Communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written form.
Be able to lift or carry 200 pounds unassisted for specific assigned tasks.
Be able to physically access assigned workspace areas, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Have excellent de-escalation and customer service skills.
AZ DPS Unarmed Guard Card required.
AZ DPS Armed Guard Card required.

Nice To Haves

Prior armed security experience of 1–3 years.
Military experience of 4 years (preferred, not required).
Law enforcement experience of 3 years (preferred, not required).
LEOSA (optional).
AZ CCW.
CPR, BLS, TECC, or TCCC certification.
Willingness to travel up to 25% (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide armed security to corporations, individuals, assets, and objects.
Maintain firearm proficiency and participate in continuous education and range exercises.
Maintain confidentiality regarding principals, physical protection methods, and company information.
Work effectively in a team setting and independently.
Perform duties safely.
