About The Position

Black Cube Security is seeking professional, dependable Armed Security Guards for weekday assignments in Fresno, California. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property through a visible security presence, careful observation, and professional incident response. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Two separate weekday shifts are available, each totaling 20 scheduled hours per week: morning, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM; or afternoon, Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM. Applicants should indicate their preferred shift. The position is part-time, in person, and pays $19–$21 per hour, with payroll every two weeks. The company provides a uniform, including a polo shirt, uniform pants, and a security badge, and offers training and development and a 401(k). A resume is required when applying.

Requirements

• Current California BSIS Security Guard Registration (Guard Card).
• Current BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit associated with the security guard registration, with qualifications appropriate for the firearm carried on duty.
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism.
• Ability to follow security procedures and work without direct supervision.
• Dependable attendance and availability for the selected weekday shift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous armed security or related security experience.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and access control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned premises and maintain a visible, professional security presence.
• Monitor entrances and exits and verify access authorization.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
• Address unauthorized access through professional communication and de-escalation, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and contact emergency services when necessary.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Follow company policies, site instructions, and applicable firearms safety requirements.
• Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and authorized personnel.
