Armed Security Guard - Experienced
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring an experienced Armed Security Guard to support a government location in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves safeguarding clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to situations, and providing professional customer service and communication. The position is full-time, pays $23.00 per hour, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Applicants must have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience; an armed guard card or license; and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 21 years old for armed roles. Customer service experience and pepper spray certification are preferred. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Employees participate in industry-specific security training programs. Applicable licensing may be required before employment.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities.
