About The Position

As an Armed Security Guard conducting part-time patrols in Dallas, Texas, you will help safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine armed patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. The role includes responding professionally to situations, providing customer service, and communicating clearly with employees and visitors. The stated schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
