About The Position

GLOBAL OPS is seeking experienced Armed Security Agents to support client locations across New York State. This active, highly visible role requires situational awareness, vigilance, decisiveness, and professionalism while protecting clients. It is not a static post: approximately 60–70% of each shift is spent outdoors standing post, conducting perimeter checks, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents. Multiple assignments are available, with placement based on operational needs and business requirements. Locations listed include Brooklyn, Long Island, Manhattan, and Queens.

Requirements

• Hold a valid New York State Armed Security License.
• Hold either a valid unrestricted New York State pistol permit or a valid NYS Yellow Carry Card License.
• Be able to work assignments in New York State.
• Be able to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Have excellent observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a strong customer-service mindset.
• Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Be able to successfully complete all required screenings and pre-employment training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive perimeter checks to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Maintain a highly visible security presence.
• Monitor and control access to client properties.
• Identify, assess, and respond appropriately to suspicious activity.
• Enforce site protocols and security procedures.
• Respond professionally to alarms, emergencies, and critical incidents.
• Assist employees, visitors, and clients with professionalism.
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports.
