About The Position

Premier Protective Security is hiring a full-time Armed Field Supervisor Security Guard to serve locations in Birmingham, Cottondale, and Calera, Alabama. The role helps maintain safe and secure client premises by actively monitoring and patrolling locations, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The position requires a current Alabama armed security license and active Alabama ASRB card, a valid driver’s license, a passing motor vehicle record, and the employee’s own registered firearm used to qualify. The schedule must be flexible, and the employee must be willing and able to travel among the listed locations. Pay is non-negotiable at $23.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.

Requirements

At least 2 years of previous Field Supervisor experience.
Current Alabama armed security license and active Alabama ASRB card.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience; experience requirement applies to armed roles.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
Must supply a registered firearm used to qualify.
Must be able and willing to travel among the listed locations.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol client premises and locations to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives pertaining to client-site personnel, visitors, and the area.
Remain vigilant by observing, listening, and evaluating conditions for potential risks or incidents.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers when needed.
Travel to work locations in Cottondale, Calera, and Birmingham.
