About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Cleared Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in San Antonio, Texas. The driving post involves conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, providing customer service, and responding professionally to evolving situations. The scheduled hours are Friday and Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $26.53 per hour.

Requirements

Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
Texas Level III Armed Certification.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access control points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle access according to site-specific requirements.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
