About The Position

Oak View Group is hiring a part-time Arena Marketing Intern for Addition Financial Arena. The internship provides hands-on experience supporting marketing for concerts, family shows, sporting events, and other live events at Addition Financial Arena and The Venue. The intern will assist with advertising, promotions, public relations, social media, digital marketing, creative production, grassroots outreach, and marketing research, while working with the marketing team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role pays $15.00 per hour and runs from January 11, 2027, through April 16, 2027. The position is open until February 5, 2027. Candidates must be juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or Entertainment Management. Evening and weekend availability is required for some events.

Requirements

• Must be a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or Entertainment Management.
• Must be a people person with an upbeat personality.
• Must be a team player and able to work independently as needed.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings and weekends for some events.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to shoot and edit photos and videos.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Experience with graphic design, videography, and camera gimbal usage.

Responsibilities

• Help the Marketing Department with events and promotions for Addition Financial Arena and The Venue.
• Assist the marketing team with advertising shows, including receiving proposals, negotiating, and placing ads in print, radio, television, digital, and billboard media.
• Proofread advertising copy, radio spot copy, press releases, and weekly e-blasts.
• Support the maintenance and updating of social media sites and online event calendars.
• Promote ticketed events through grassroots efforts such as flyers and street teams when needed.
• Assist with producing collateral materials, including ad layouts, brochures, and promotional materials.
• Update media, VIP, and group sales lists.
• Organize and maintain marketing files, including digitizing settlement packets and news clippings.
• Conduct marketing and show research.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
