About The Position

This full-time position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of new programs and services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The role involves fiscal oversight of internal resources, development of annual operational and capital equipment budgets, long-range operational plans, and growth initiatives. The Area Vice President will also assist in developing marketing strategies, enhancing existing services, and creating new services based on market trends and surveys. Coordination of construction and design projects, and the development and implementation of all imaging services are key responsibilities. Ensuring patient satisfaction and implementing improvement strategies are also critical. The role requires collecting, generating, analyzing, and distributing various reports and statistical data. Additionally, the position involves overseeing the evaluation and counseling of team members regarding performance, conduct, attendance, and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations, providing feedback for improvement. Approvals for departmental purchases, product evaluations, space, and equipment utilization are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Experience with appropriate board certification with the radiology field and familiarity with all aspects of departmental policy and administrative procedures required.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
  • 10+ years demonstrated success in managing within the large, acute care, academic radiology setting.

Nice To Haves

  • ARRT or NMTCB certification preferred.
  • Membership in AHRA preferred.
  • Master's Degrees
