About The Position

Oversee New Business sales for Region 61 / Indiana and Illinois coverage area. Serve as a liaison between Customers, the Dealer Network, and Kardex Remstar Corporate headquarters. Kardex Remstar Automated storage solutions are high-tech, based on high-quality work from production sites, the skills of specialists in planning, production, and assembly, as well as the innovative spirit of engineers from research and development. For years, Kardex Remstar has been developing solutions in the areas of Industry 4.0 and digitalization to offer customers an excellent all-around service.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales quota expectations.
  • Serve as a corporate representative for Kardex Remstar in the field during Sales appointments, meetings and site installations.
  • Attend and participate in Kardex Remstar Corporate Sales Meetings as required.
  • Submit all Monthly reports as required, especially the Monthly Backlog/Activity Sales Report and updates to the Sales Force System.
  • Attend scheduled Industrial Trade shows as required.
  • Follow proper expense control measures as defined in the corporate policy and file expense reports on a regular basis.
  • Maintain a positive, productive working relationship with fellow Area Sales Managers and Regional Business Director, as well as promote cooperation and trust among other dealers in the network.
  • Promote the entire Kardex Remstar Product Line.
  • Follow and adhere to all the policies and procedures as defined in the Kardex Remstar corporate Employee Handbook.
  • Understand and practice the Kardex Remstar Code of Conduct.
  • On an annual basis, assist with the Regional Business Director to develop and plan the Quota Objectives and Budget for the Territory.
  • Decide when a direct selling effort may be required and carry out all sales functions if needed.
  • Cooperate with the Marketing Department and support their efforts when needed. This may entail setting up Customer Visits or furnishing sales reports when asked.
  • Develop Target Market opportunities within the Region and industry for both the Dealers and Kardex Remstar Corporate resources to pursue.
