Manages state/local sales directly to end-users of the organization’s products or services in a large specified geographic area, or is responsible for a specific industry or product segment on a national or geographic basis. Responsible for leading a sales team within designated region, strategic account planning, and overall relationship management for existing and new customers. Aligns the Mobile Video sales team to the Motorola Solutions’ territory teams and key work partners to enhance sales & execution (internal and external partners). Establishes a collaborative, energetic and exciting working environment as the leader of the region. Holds sales team accountable for achieving/exceeding the Committed View (CV) forecast. Utilizes strong leadership and communication skills to cast a clear vision to execute the strategy. Provides an environment where changes in market focus, product performance, and customer requirements are communicated and acted upon. Establishes an environment of ownership while understanding the business goals for the territory and the individual contributors for achieving those goals. Sets go-to-market strategies both with direct and indirect selling resources. Generates a long-term, multiple-year sales pipeline and accounts to pursue. Creates, strengthens, and manages reseller and Motorola manufacturer representative organizations. Develops strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the existing customer base. Supports sales team in negotiating large contracts. Resolves complex customer service and satisfaction issues.
