About The Position

Acima Leasing is a dynamic leasing company that provides consumer payment options for life necessities through lease-to-own options for various products. Acima utilizes innovative online technology and a fast application process for retailers nationwide. The Area Sales Manager will focus on selling Acima services to retailers, driving sales-oriented growth objectives, and exceeding revenue and profitability goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background selling solutions to retailers and navigating various departments to present to key decision makers.

Requirements

  • Must be currently located in the Metro area of this position (Jackson, MS).
  • 2 or more years of experience in business to business sales (B2B sales), enterprise account management, business development, or outside sales.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Ability to present and teach small groups.
  • Proven time management skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to influence positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with retailers and enroll them in Acima's program.
  • Train retailer teams on how to use Acima’s online portal, manage applications, utilize marketing materials, and answer general questions.
  • Manage the overall growth of the assigned territory and meet company goals.
  • Call on and present to new prospects, visiting an average of 11+ stores per week day.
  • Follow up on merchants enrolled by the ASM to offer support on specific lease applications or questions.
  • Manage CRM using Salesforce.
  • Manage pipeline to help the region hit growth goals.
  • Support underwriting and inside sales departments when issues arise with specific leases and throughout the sales cycle.
  • Train merchants on the program and the online portal, including onboarding and training management and sales teams.
  • Answer general questions about Acima’s processes.
  • Manage merchant pipelines and provide ongoing training and support.
  • Generate new leases from personally enrolled merchants.
  • Manage the distribution and implementation of marketing and point of sale program materials.
