The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales performance across multiple areas, ensuring teams meet or exceed quotas. This role involves training and coaching sales representatives, identifying and addressing underperformance, and developing and implementing regional sales strategies. The manager will also conduct market research, set benchmarks, manage regional sales budgets, and coordinate with operations and logistics. Additionally, they will deliver presentations and sales training, and use forecasting and sales analytics to monitor trends. Domestic travel may be required. The role also includes compliance with all NOV standards, policies, and facility guidelines.
