About The Position

This position supports 3 hotels in Farmville and 1 hotel in Blackstone. The Area Sales & Events Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving regional sales growth and enhancing brand presence through strategic event planning and execution. This position is responsible for coordinating sales activities across multiple locations within the assigned area, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The coordinator will manage logistics, vendor relationships, and promotional efforts to maximize event impact and customer engagement. By analyzing sales data and market trends, the role supports the development of targeted sales strategies and event initiatives that resonate with local audiences. Ultimately, this position serves as a key liaison between the sales team, marketing department, and external partners to deliver seamless and successful events that contribute to revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales coordination, event planning, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute sales events and promotional activities within the designated area to increase product visibility and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to identify opportunities for event participation and coordinate schedules to maximize coverage and impact.
  • Manage vendor and venue relationships, including negotiating contracts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Track and analyze sales performance and event outcomes to provide actionable insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Support the development and distribution of marketing materials and sales collateral tailored to regional market needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of event budgets, expenses, and sales data to ensure financial accountability and reporting accuracy.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
