This role is for an Area Sales Director responsible for supporting DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors). The Area Sales Director will support IDs in managing customer relationships, engaging in sales activities, growing their customer base, seeking new selling opportunities, and tracking sales data. They will build and maintain strong customer relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution. Utilizing digital tools, they will demonstrate execution wins and identify opportunities for continued growth. The Area Sales Director will collaborate with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities to maximize sales, using consumer insights to adjust sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position required.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card
  • Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Supporting DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
  • Supporting IDs’ efforts to manage customer relationships, engage in sales activities, grow their customer base, seek new selling opportunities in the market, and track sales data.
  • Building and maintaining solid customer relationships with key accounts, that will help ensure promotion and display execution in the market.
  • Utilizing digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth.
  • Working with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities to maximize sales.
  • Using consumer insights to adjust sales strategies.
