This role is for an Area Sales Director responsible for supporting DSD (direct store delivery) sales and Independent Distributors (IDs). The Area Sales Director will assist IDs in managing customer relationships, engaging in sales activities, expanding their customer base, identifying new market opportunities, and tracking sales data. The role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships with key accounts to ensure effective promotion and display execution. Utilizing digital tools, the Area Sales Director will demonstrate execution successes and identify areas for growth. This position will collaborate with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory potential for sales maximization, using consumer insights to refine sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position required.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).

  • Seek new selling opportunities in the market and track sales data.
  • Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution.
  • Utilize digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth.
  • Analyze market and territory opportunities with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to maximize sales.
  • Use consumer insights to adjust sales strategies.
