The Area Sales Director position is responsible for supporting DSD (direct store delivery) sales and Independent Distributors (IDs). This role involves managing customer relationships, engaging in sales activities, growing the customer base, seeking new selling opportunities, and tracking sales data. The Area Sales Director will also build and maintain customer relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution, and utilize digital tools to demonstrate execution wins and growth opportunities. Collaboration with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team is expected to analyze market and territory opportunities, maximize sales, and adjust sales strategies using consumer insights.

Requirements

  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card
  • Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position required.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Supporting DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
  • Supporting IDs’ efforts to manage customer relationships, engage in sales activities, grow their customer base, seek new selling opportunities in the market, and track sales data.
  • Building and maintaining solid customer relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution in the market.
  • Utilizing digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth.
  • Working with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities to maximize sales.
  • Using consumer insights to adjust sales strategies.
