About The Position

The Area Representative works with Directors to fulfill the FCA vision, pursue its mission, and live its values by implementing the ministry plan for the assigned area. Within FCA Sports Environments, the Representative promotes a consistent approach to discipleship—making disciples who make disciples—and ensures the ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and FCA policies and procedures. This position works with female coaches and athletes at Forsyth Central High School, South Forsyth High School, and Lambert High School in Forsyth County. It also assists with outreach and fundraising events for Forsyth County FCA. The full-time position requires support raising for salary and benefits.

Requirements

Agreement with and adherence to FCA's Christian Community Statement and Christian beliefs.
Daily prayer and Bible study as part of a spiritual rhythm.
Connection to and weekly involvement in a local church.
Ability to work with female coaches and athletes at three Forsyth County high schools.
Ability to raise support for salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

Implement the ministry plan for the assigned area in collaboration with Directors.
Ensure the FCA ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and FCA policies and procedures.
Agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement.
Maintain a spiritual rhythm, including daily prayer and Bible study, to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
Provide spiritual leadership to staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and personal example.
Participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
Conduct oneself in accordance with biblical standards of conduct and FCA's Christian beliefs.
Minister to coaches and athletes through one-on-ones, Huddles, and events.
Train and equip staff and volunteers to empower coaches and athletes to become disciples who make disciples in Sports Environments.
Recruit, train, and develop effective and diverse volunteers.
Provide volunteers with tools, resources, and training to build their skills, capacity, and competence.
Help volunteers grow spiritually and personally and prepare them for their roles and responsibilities.
Connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners to become fully funded.
Manage and steward finances for the assigned area.
Establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan by growing the Home Team, major donors, and events.
Work with the Director to serve the aligned International Region through prayer, giving, and going.
Work with female coaches and athletes at Forsyth Central High School, South Forsyth High School, and Lambert High School.
Assist with outreach and fundraising events for Forsyth County FCA.
Raise support for salary and benefits.
