This role implements the business plan for the assigned area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals. It involves identifying and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns, monitoring and managing productivity through business reports, and maintaining quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained and compliant with logistics and company policies. The position also supervises and develops associates and leaders, manages the maintenance and installation of systems hardware and software, and troubleshoots systems applications. The Area Manager demonstrates uptodate expertise, builds business solutions by fostering partnerships, and models compliance with company policies and values.
