About The Position

Clean Team is hiring an Area Manager to lead local commercial cleaning operations in Bay City and the surrounding Mid-Michigan region. The role combines field leadership, quality control, customer relationship management, and administrative oversight. The Area Manager ensures that client facilities meet contract requirements and the company’s cleanliness and professionalism standards while supporting and developing cleaning associates. The position is part-time, with evening and flexible hours, and requires travel between local sites.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory, management, or team lead role.
Excellent communication skills for working with staff and corporate clients.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-motivated approach to working independently in the field.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
Ability to travel between local sites.
Flexibility to work evening hours.

Responsibilities

Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate commercial cleaning associates.
Conduct routine inspections of client facilities to confirm contract compliance and maintain quality standards.
Serve as the primary contact for local business clients, promptly address requests, and maintain customer satisfaction.
Manage labor hours, schedule shifts, and cover open assignments when necessary.
Track supply and equipment inventory across multiple sites.
Enforce company policies, OSHA chemical safety guidelines, and building lock-up procedures.
