The Area Manager implements the business plan for their assigned area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals. They identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others. The Area Manager monitors and manages the productivity of their assigned area by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. They maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing documentation. This role supervises and develops associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation. The Area Manager also manages the maintenance and installation of systems hardware and software, troubleshoots systems applications, and demonstrates uptodate expertise to develop and improve action plans. They build relationships and partnerships to implement business solutions, identify business needs, and adapt to competing demands. The Area Manager models compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and fosters a culture of belonging, continuous improvement, and resilience.
