The Area Manager monitors and manages the productivity of their area by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. They maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing procedures. This role also identifies and resolves associate, customer, and supplier concerns. The Area Manager supervises and develops associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling policies, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation processes. The role emphasizes respecting individuals, building high-performing teams, embracing diversity, creating a culture of belonging, and empowering associates to thrive.
