About The Position

This role involves inspecting buildings for proper operation, cleanliness, and safety. It also includes maintaining heating, air conditioning, and lighting in accordance with federal guidelines. The position serves as the primary liaison between building occupants and Facilities Management & Planning staff. Responsibilities also include preparing buildings for special events or classes as requested and in accordance with instructions submitted by the requesting department, and supervising custodial staff to ensure assigned tasks are completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Experience in custodial services management.
• Knowledge of building operations, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with federal guidelines for heating, air conditioning, and lighting maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaison duties.
• Ability to supervise and manage staff effectively.
• Skills in event preparation and coordination.
