This is a Full-Time leadership position within the Operations division at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. As the Full-Time Area Manager- Operations at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and overall guest experience within Rides, Park Services, Front Gate and Aquatics Operations. Requirements

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and administrative abilities
Proven leadership experience with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Strong initiative with the ability to manage multiple priorities from planning to execution
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines
Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods outdoors in varied weather conditions, including extreme heat and sun
Availability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Possess a valid Texas driver’s license
High school diploma required
Theme park or waterpark experience strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the park's aquatic facilities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Direct operational activities within designated areas, meeting the needs of guests and staff while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Build a positive, high-performance team culture to enhance retention rates and foster camaraderie.
Provide mentorship to all team members, supporting their goal achievement through positive communication and coaching.
Ensure strict adherence to all standard operating procedures related to slides and attractions, adapting procedures as waterpark operations evolve.
Engage in advanced planning to effectively manage volume, sales, and throughput in all areas, optimizing the guest experience.
Develop action plans and analyze data/trends to drive ongoing performance enhancements and reduce incidents.
Maintain compliance with Ellis & Associates and corporate aquatics policies and standards, keeping accurate records.
Coordinate and conduct department certification, orientation, and ongoing on-the-job training.
Approach problem-solving and difficult situations with a composed and attentive demeanor.
Oversee all aspects of staff management, from recruitment to training and scheduling.
Foster effective communication with other departments to optimize guest service efficiencies.
Assist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of fiscal budgets and labor optimization efforts.
Demonstrate unwavering commitment to safety standards, prioritizing the well-being of guests and staff.
Consistently meet or surpass established sales and service targets.
Act as Manager On-Duty as needed to ensure operations run smoothly for the department and division.
