About The Position

The Area General Manager leads a vibrant, multi-unit corporate dining operation for our corporate services account, delivering an exceptional guest experience built on culinary excellence, hospitality, and innovation. This role oversees high-volume café operations, executive hospitality, and specialized catering services for the world’s largest HVAC manufacturing facility, cultivating a dynamic food program that reflects the scale and precision of a premier client. As a critical leader for this client, the Area GM upholds elevated standards and aligns with global operating frameworks to ensure a seamless, world-class service experience tailored to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Area GM drives financial performance, inspires a diverse workforce, and ensures flawless execution across all service areas. Responsibilities include operational oversight of large-scale production, talent development, and strategic client relationship management to advance both Sodexo and the client’s organizational goals. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a high-expectation environment and is passionate about elevating workplace dining through creativity, operational excellence, and a commitment to outstanding service.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in corporate dining or hospitality operations, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and culinary excellence.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, with the ability to drive efficient, profitable operations.
  • A people‑first leadership style that inspires teams, builds culture, and supports accountability, growth, and high performance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities, with confidence in partnering directly with clients and key stakeholders.
  • A deep commitment to food safety, operational standards, and consistent execution across all service areas.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across multiple corporate dining venues, ensuring exceptional service, culinary excellence, and a consistently elevated guest experience.
  • Build and maintain strong client partnerships by communicating proactively, anticipating needs, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Inspire, develop, and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and strategic operational planning.
  • Ensure full compliance with Sodexo standards, food safety regulations, and all operational policies across the entire dining program.
  • Champion innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance menus, service models, and overall program quality in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment.
