About The Position

As Area Director of Engineering, you’ll lead the maintenance and engineering operations of the property, ensuring all building systems, equipment, and facilities operate safely and efficiently. You’ll manage a team, oversee preventative maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety and brand standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a commitment to maintaining a well-functioning, guest-ready environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance and engineering operations of the property, ensuring all building systems, equipment, and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
• Manage a team, oversee preventative maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety and brand standards.
• Manage maintenance staff, oversee repairs and upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.
• Report to the General Manager.
