Requirements

Ten years + of US architectural project experience with experience in mid-rise wood construction.
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite experience
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

A License or NCARB Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Understand, plan, track, and deliver projects with a clear grasp of client requirements, proposals, contracts, and scope.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
Collaborate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction and other authorities to support project progression and community impact.
Coordinate with consultants and review/redline drawings for quality assurance at key milestones (30%, 60%, 90%).
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
Identify potential risks early and develop strategic solutions.
Tackle complex technical and design challenges with depth of knowledge and strategic insight.
Maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and schedules.
Uphold DC Standards, brand submittal guidelines, building codes, and zoning regulations.
