About The Position

The Architectural Millwork Project Manager manages a portfolio of large, complex projects, overseeing scope, budget, and schedule across multiple projects executing simultaneously. As part of a cross-functional team, the Project Manager works to deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations. The role also involves understanding customers’ brands and strategic direction to provide excellent service and products, communicating project status and potential issues, investigating quote deviations, and preparing project status reports.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a project manager in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrable success managing large programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including tact and diplomacy to foster a team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Service-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.

• Working knowledge of wood and metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex projects requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Define and refine requirements throughout the project life cycle.
• Proactively communicate project status to account managers so potential issues can be addressed in a timely manner.
• Lead cross-functional team meetings to review project scope and changes.
• Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Develop a broad understanding of customers’ brands and strategic direction to provide excellent service and products.
• Investigate deviations from quotes and obtain approvals as needed.
• Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule for multiple complex projects executing simultaneously.
