About The Position

Dewberry is seeking an Architectural Health and Wellness Leader to spearhead strategic planning, internal collaboration, project leadership, and external business development within their Health and Wellness practice. This role requires a market-focused strategic thinker with subject matter expertise and experience. The Leader will report to the Dewberry Architects Inc. President and work with other Dewberry leaders to develop and execute strategies for sustained growth. Dewberry is a professional services firm with over 60 locations and 2,500 employees nationwide, known for its people and commitment to innovation and client service. Requirements

A Professional Degree in Architecture is required.
A State Professional Architectural license is required.
Minimum of 15 years of experience with subject matter expertise and management of ground up and renovation hospital and medical office architectural projects.
Proven record of successful Client and business development in the Health and Wellness industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to provide meaningful project leadership support.
Must be enthusiastic about Dewberry and our people, markets segments and services.
Diplomatic and persuasive. Able to lead with influence and develop strong business relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
Excellent team building skills, both internally and externally.
Ability to travel to represent Dewberry.
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Identify market drivers, own the Health and Wellness Market Segment Tactical Plan, advance initiatives based on market intelligence, coordinate the plan with Business Unit Managers and Office Marketing Plans to set sales and growth objectives, and identify investment opportunities to support strategic plans.
Internal Collaboration: Lead service delivery, participate in key Health and Wellness projects, build relationships with internal teams, clients, and partners, leverage industry network to recruit experts, build relationships across the Health and Wellness Market Segment, lead pre-positioning and capture plans, establish teaming relationships, and increase visibility in the Federal Market.
Business Development: Lead business development for Health and Wellness projects in Commercial, State/Local, and Federal Markets, identify, track, position, and pursue strategic clients and projects, develop strategies for upcoming opportunities, serve in a Client Management role, achieve sustained growth, and increase Dewberry's visibility through industry participation and presentations.
