Requirements

• Active Nebraska RN or LPN license.
• At least 1 year of experience working with seniors.
• At least 2 years of experience leading or managing a team.
• Strong understanding of medications, dosages, and potential side effects.
• Compassionate, dependable leader with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using software and electronic systems.
• Availability to support the community as needed, including occasional evenings, weekends, and Manager on Duty responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, support, and grow wellness team members while creating a positive, collaborative environment.
• Stay connected with residents and staff and provide hands-on support when needed.
• Develop and maintain service plans based on each resident’s needs, assessments, and physician orders.
• Partner with residents, families, team members, and healthcare providers to ensure clear communication and coordinated care.
• Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, person-centered care every day.
• Oversee medication management practices and promote accuracy and safety.
• Evaluate prospective residents and help determine how the community can best meet their needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure wellness practices meet state regulations and Agemark standards.
• Identify changes or risks, respond to emergencies, and implement proactive plans to support resident well-being.
• Help create a community where residents feel known, respected, supported, and at home.
