About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Architectural Designer to be based in Bloomfield, NJ. This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027 or as discussed. The role involves performing basic architectural/engineering calculations, preparing specifications, reports, and data tables, and maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups. The designer will also prepare, review, and approve drawings as required. Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, the position may involve technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets, and coordination of technical and administrative activities with other disciplines and departments on assigned projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or in another related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Open Buildings and other computer applications.

Responsibilities

Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
