About The Position

Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions, and platforms that improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them. In the Architectural Designer II position, you’ll collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Foodservice Designers across the full project lifecycle to develop thoughtful, high-quality design solutions that enhance resident and staff experiences. You’ll contribute to projects from schematic design through construction documentation while leveraging advanced design technologies, BIM workflows, and multidisciplinary collaboration in a fast-paced professional environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Studies, Architectural Technology, Interior Architecture, Drafting/Construction Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience producing coordinated construction document sets within the Architecture or Engineering industry.
  • 3+ years of professional experience using Autodesk Revit.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation standards, building systems, and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Portfolio of professional work samples required for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Autodesk Forma, Enscape, Lumion, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI-assisted rendering platforms.
  • Experience working within BIM-centered project delivery environments.
  • Working toward AXP completion and Architectural Registration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate architectural and interior design drawings including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documents.
  • Support projects through schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration activities.
  • Prepare and manage drawing sets, linked models, revisions, and project documentation across Architecture, Interior Design, and Foodservice project teams.
  • Review applicable building codes, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements to support compliant, high-quality design solutions.
  • Conduct field investigations, review submittals, and support permit documentation and coordination with regulatory agencies and project stakeholders.
  • Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, coordination, and adherence to project standards.
  • Contribute to BIM standards, emerging technologies, AI-enabled workflows, and process improvements that enhance efficiency and project delivery.
