Requirements

Knowledge of architecture, architectural practice, details of planning and designing of public buildings, and groups of buildings.
Knowledge of architectural and building materials.
Knowledge of costs, codes, and construction methods.
Knowledge of structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering as related to buildings.
In-depth knowledge of relevant building laws, regulations, and codes, ensuring that all designs comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
Skill in the use of personal computers and standard office software and software related to architectural design and visualization.
Ability to make and analyze comprehensive architectural designs.
Ability to present information clearly and effectively in pictorial and written forms.
Ability to analyze situations accurately, and adopt an effective course of action.
Exceptional communication and project management skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Develops architectural and interior designs in line with client specifications, budget, and local regulatory laws.
Creates detailed architectural plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Presents designs, proposals, and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
Collaborates with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project.
Oversees and guides the construction process, ensuring that the project adheres to the planned design, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Manages project deadlines and budgets, and makes necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
Stays updated on the latest architectural trends, technologies, and regulations.
Addresses any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
Serves as a technical resource or mentor to other employees.
May lead or instruct less experienced workers in high-level or technical roles.
May perform other duties as assigned.
