About The Position
Matrix Basement Systems is hiring a full-time CAD drafter at its Livonia, Michigan location. The role focuses on drawing plans and executing revisions, as well as assisting with material ordering, specification sheets, and other pre-production tasks. CAD work for this position is performed using Chief Architect. Compensation varies based on experience.
Requirements
- Proficient experience with Chief Architect.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 20/20, Kitchen Pro, SketchUp, Revit, or other CAD programs.
- Proficiency in Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Students should have completed a construction documentation class or higher.
- Submit two examples of work for review.
Nice To Haves
- One to three years of professional experience is a bonus; the position is also open to students starting their careers.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and Adobe Suite is a plus.
