About The Position

Barge Design Solutions is seeking an Architectural Associate II to join our multidisciplinary design team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced architects and project teams to support the planning, design, and delivery of a variety of projects that positively impact the communities we serve. As an Architectural Associate II, you will contribute to the development of construction documents, perform design analyses, and participate in site assessments and field visits while gaining exposure to all phases of project delivery. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of two years of architectural experience.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software and field equipment.
  • Understanding of design principles, construction procedures, zoning requirements, building codes, and construction materials.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and modify construction documents, including programming, design analysis, conceptual drawings, and final design under general supervision.
  • Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and other project information to support project development and design.
  • Participate in preliminary assessments, site inspections, and reviews of construction proposals to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Assist with field investigations and accompany architects on project site visits as needed.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to support project delivery.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
