About The Position
K. Hovnanian is celebrating over 65 years of quality and leadership in the home building and community development industry. This role involves playing a large part in the everyday decisions that help build dream homes where people will raise their families and create lasting memories. The company is looking for someone with a passion for details and industry knowledge to join their team and create computer-aided plans that will bring communities to life. Using premier CAD technology, you’ll draw accurate and detailed plans that help illustrate home plans, building materials, options, etc. You will also develop forms, charts and other construction documents for review by internal decision-makers and future homeowners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or an equivalent of 2-5 years' experience in the homebuilding industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop.
- Proficiency in Google Sketchup.
- Knowledge of residential construction.
- Knowledge of structural and mechanical designs.
Responsibilities
- Draw accurate and detailed plans using premier CAD technology to illustrate home plans, building materials, and options.
- Develop forms, charts, and other construction documents for review by internal decision-makers and future homeowners.
